(eng): Multiple model representation is used here as a basis of aptive control. Instead of parameter identification, it is used model probabilities evaluation. The set of models with their probabilities are used in the multiple-model LQ controller design. The approach is demonstrated on the control of a nonlinear plant. As such example, the elevation dynamics of a helicopter model was used.
