(eng): This paper is devoted to mathematical models describing the drug-induced enzyme production networks. Our aim is to develop an enhanced (yet biologically meaningful) model, which can be used for further analysis and optimization of drug delivery. More precisely, we look for an appropriate model reduction method that could be used for further optimization of drug delivery. For both the full and reduced model, we simulate the model output corresponding to measurable quantity, i.e. mRNA fold induction. The comparison of the full system behavior with the reduced model is presented and future prospects are proposed. The method is illustrated by an example.
