This is a one-day workshop that will follow the 30th Annual Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NIPS 2016).

There will be invited talks by experts in the area, contributed talks and a poster sessions. Besides time allocated for question after the each talk, there is allocated time for three panel discussions (morning, afternoon and evening).

The panel discussions ("(Ir‐)rationality of humans?", "Information‐Theoretic Aspects of Rational Decision Making", "Modelling of Rational Decision Making") are focused around the topics of respective session and will:

  • summarize key ideas learnt from the relevant invited/contributed talks and posters;
  • discuss controversial views, and
  • pose related open questions.
