V časopise Magazín styl pro ženy vyšel pěkný článek o naší kolegyni Jitce Kostkové, která nedávno dostala Fourierovu cenu. Třeba její příběh podnítí další dívky, aby se také daly na cestu matematiky a došly po ní až do ÚTIA.
Jitka Kostkova, a PhD student of Jan Flusser, has won the prestigeous Joseph Fourier Prize in Computer Science for her work on invariants of vector fields. The prize is awarded by the French Embassy and ATOS company. Congratulation!
The Department of Image Processing teamed up with cell biologists from the University of Cambride to analyze the process of how substances are brought into cells. Results of their collaboration was published in the top-ranking scientific journal Developmental Cell.
