Data fusion – Multimodal datasets - Industry & Medicine & Art. This workshop will bring together researchers both on a national and international level to exchange ideas, encourage collaborations and present cutting-edge research. We welcome participants both from research institutions as well as from industry, hospitals, government and other application areas.
Keynote speakers
We are proud to host high profile international researchers from fundamental and application oriented research.
Jan Kotera and Filip Šroubek from the Dept. of Image Processing (ZOI), and D. Rozumny and J. Institutes of Information Theory and Automation in cooperation with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague organizes STAT of ML (Statistics of Machine Learning) conference to be held from September 30 to October 1, 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic. The main theme of the conference is rigorous statical treatment of machine learning applied in the field of digital finance.
Czech-Japan Seminars on Data Analysis and Decision Making under Uncertainty originated by the two meetings that were held in Ishikawa and Čeladná in 1999. These meetings were financially supported by an international collaborative research project between the Czech Republic and Japan. The initial meetings were quite successful both in producing new results in the area of data analysis and decision making under uncertainty and in putting together an international group of researchers ready for mutual research cooperation.
Twenty three exceptionally outstanding young scientists were granted The Otto Wichterle Award, an honour given by the Czech Academy of Sciences. One of them is Ing.
